Indiana State University’s 职业中心 provides resources to help students find on-campus employment, 实习, careers after graduation, and guides for writing resumes, preparing for interviews, 职业规划.

学生 visit the 职业中心 looking for on-campus and off-campus employment opportunities. The Center has resources for writing resumes, preparing for job interviews, planning for upcoming career fairs, finding and taking advantage of 网络 opportunities, and securing employment after graduation.

The Center also provides information for Indiana State faculty and staff who assist students in finding career opportunities, as well as information for employers looking to recruit Indiana State students.

“在早期, I got involved with Sycamore Video, where I could practice my reporting and anchoring skills, but also learn what it takes behind the scenes in the production booth. We helped grow a one-minute taped show and turned it into a 15+ minute broadcast on campus television. Terre Haute has two local TV stations, which is an incredible resource for broadcast journalism students. I took advantage of that for my internship and other work opportunities.”
